Goalseye’s Founder

Our founder, Janine Yorio, is a Yale University graduate and the CEO and co-founder of Everyrealm, a gaming technology company backed by prominent investors such as Andreessen Horowitz, Lightspeed, and Will Smith. Janine brings a wealth of experience and a unique vision to Goalseye.

With over 20 years of experience as a Yale Alumni Schools Committee member, Janine has conducted countless interviews for prospective students across the tristate area. As a parent herself, with a middle schooler beginning to prepare for the college admissions journey, she understands firsthand the challenges, aspirations, and potential of today’s students.

“I created Goalseye because I believe there are so many brilliant kids out there being pushed into a draining college prep grind. I wanted my son’s high school years to be a joyful time for our family (not filled with constant nagging and arguments) but I didn’t want to jeopardize his chances of getting into a top college. Instead, I decided to build something that helps kids explore their unique passions, to craft a compelling narrative for college admissions that differentiates them from the thousands of other nearly-identical applicants that admissions officers must sift through.
